My name is AS. I am 40 years old and married with two children. I grew up at my maternal uncle’s house, who followed communist ideas. During this time, my uncle developed an unknown illness and became very weak. After receiving many treatments that did not help, he was close to his death. Like an angel, one Christian man came to visit and talk with my uncle. He gently shared the good news about Jesus Christ with him and offered a prayer for my uncle’s healing. The next day, a miracle happened! My uncle began to experience healing in his body! I heard my uncle say that Jesus is the true God. Before, I did not believe in any god, but now, I believed in Jesus as God and vowed to follow Him only. My uncle called the Christian man again, and happily, my uncle, his family, and I all received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior together through him.
Since that time, I joined Christian church meetings regularly. I also followed my non-believer friends. I liked their friendship and worldly things. It was hard for me to let my old friendships go. This type of life made me a weak Christian for many years. I was Christian on the outside, but from inside I failed to know Christ deeply. I felt great internal conflict and strove harder to be an honest Christian, but the grip of worldly things was very strong. In 2025, I was listening to a sermon by a godly preacher and the Holy Spirit whispered that I had lost many years in the world and I needed to return and serve Jesus. He was loud and clear. God softened my hardened heart through this personal message and helped me to repent for my selfishness and sin. The Holy Spirit helped me to surrender my life, and I made a true commitment that my walk with Jesus would now be close no matter the cost. God restored my faith and strengthened me to walk with Him. I quit my lucrative job overseas and returned to Nepal to begin serving with a small group of believers in a small town. I am became part of a small fellowship and did evangelism in another area nearby, focusing on church planting. My favorite Bible verse is Galatians 2:20, because I feel I have died to my old self now and live fully for Christ through faith.
During my church planting ministry, I felt that I needed better Bible training. I began to pray and look for a good Bible school. One day, I met a pastor who shared about Acts training with me. He explained about the wonderful books of Acts written by Dr. Alvin Low and the training's effectiveness and community learning environment. I became very impressed and joined the next training cycle in September 2025. I am very grateful to the Acts family for providing me not only with training, but also with much prayer and love to help develop me and my ministry. Training has been very helpful for our Bible study group and for my evangelism ministry.
Now I am very glad and grateful to God for His patience and intervention in my life. He is a kind and very loving God! I am unworthy to serve Him, but He has chosen me for His great work and I am eternally grateful. Thank you!
