Looking Ahead to Bhutan

January 2026

Pastor K.B. grew up in a Hindu home. After getting married in 2010, he came to know Jesus as his personal Savior through his wife, who was already a believer. She introduced him to Christ, and gradually K.B. began to walk in faith. On June 26, 2011, K.B. was baptized, and a year later he experienced God’s calling to ministry. K.B. began serving Jesus through the church.

K.B. is a graduate from the first batch of Acts training in Bhutan. He was a sincere, disciplined, and hardworking student while attending classes. During his training, he began a small house church while on session breaks. He often gives credit to Acts for the biblical foundation and ministry skill he has received.

After graduating, K.B. continued faithfully with his ministry and is currently serving as a pastor. Today, his church is growing both numerically and spiritually, with stronger biblical teaching and leadership. He strongly believes that investing in faithful individuals brings lasting fruit for God’s Kingdom.

K.B. and his wife have two daughters who are currently attending school. To support his family, he works as a taxi driver. Balancing full-time ministry and daily family needs has been very challenging. Recognizing this, after his graduation, his Acts director connected him with a sponsor through Malaysia. This partnership provides partial financial support, while K.B. works to establish his home fellowship.
